whatprop.com is an independent research, comparison, and review directory for proprietary ("prop") trading firms. We are not a prop firm, broker, exchange, payment provider, or financial institution. We do not offer funded accounts or evaluations, do not hold client money, and do not execute or arrange trades. Any account, challenge, payout, or trading relationship is between you and the third-party firm you choose.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use whatprop. You agree not to use the site where doing so would be unlawful for you.

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used unlawfully or abusively.

All content on whatprop is provided for general information only. Nothing on the site is investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice, an offer or solicitation, or a recommendation to buy any product, challenge, or service from any firm. Trading and prop-firm challenges carry a real risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your decisions and should seek independent professional advice where appropriate. We work to keep firm data, rankings, pricing, rules, spreads, and offers accurate and current, but we do not warrant that any of it is complete, error-free, or up to date. Firm terms change frequently, and some figures are estimates, operator-supplied, or crowd-sourced. Always verify the current rules, pricing, and conditions directly on a firm’s official website before purchasing a challenge or funding an account.

whatprop lets signed-in users submit reviews, ratings, and other content. You keep ownership of what you submit, but by submitting it you grant whatprop a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the service.

When you contribute content you confirm that:

• It reflects your genuine, first-hand experience and is honest and not misleading.
• You will provide supporting proof (such as a payout screenshot) where you make a factual claim that we ask you to substantiate.
• It does not infringe anyone’s rights and is not unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or fraudulent.
• You are not being paid or incentivised by a firm to post it without disclosing that.

We may moderate, edit for formatting, refuse, or remove content at our discretion, and we are under no obligation to publish or keep any submission. We are not responsible for opinions expressed by users.

When using whatprop you agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content in a way that harms performance or breaches these terms, including building or training a competing dataset or service from our content.
• Attempt to bypass security, probe vulnerabilities, or access areas or data you are not authorised to access.
• Upload malware or interfere with the operation or integrity of the site.
• Post fake, incentivised, or manipulated reviews, or otherwise attempt to distort rankings or ratings.
• Impersonate any person or firm, or use the site for any unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purpose.

The whatprop name, logo, site design, original text, data compilations, and other materials we create are owned by whatprop or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit our content without our permission, except as expressly allowed by law.

Some links on whatprop are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you sign up through them at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not buy placement in our rankings beyond the methodology we publish, and commercial links are disclosed. See our Affiliate terms of use for details.

The site links to prop firms, brokers, and other third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products, rules, payouts, or practices. Your dealings with any third party, including any purchase or funded-account relationship, are solely between you and that third party and are governed by their terms.

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, whatprop and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless whatprop and its operators from claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or content you submit.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the site or your account at any time if you breach these terms or if we need to do so to protect the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

These terms are governed by European Union law and the applicable laws of the EU member state from which whatprop.com is operated, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts, subject to those mandatory consumer rights.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
